Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, the Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, announced the passing away of Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, in a statement issued yesterday.
The statement reads:
“It is with great sorrow that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) regretfully announces the unfortunate demise of Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, who died today, 14 July 2020, as a result of head injuries sustained from a road traffic accident at NAF Base Kaduna.
Until her death, Flying Officer Arotile, who was commissioned into the NAF in September 2017 as a member of Nigerian Defence Academy Regular Course 64, was the first ever female combat helicopter pilot in the Service. During her short but impactful stay in the Service, late Arotile, who hails from Iffe in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, contributed significantly to the efforts to rid the North Central States of armed bandits and other criminal elements by flying several combat missions under Operation GAMA AIKI in Minna, Niger State.”
“The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, on behalf officers, airmen, airwomen and civilian staff of the NAF, commiserates with the family of late Flying Officer Arotile over this irreparable loss. We pray that the Almighty God grants her soul eternal rest.” He concluded.
The wife of late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Mrs Florence Ajimobi respond to the rumours mill, about her later husband. Where she was quoted:
“Although I should not be the one speaking but I just want to clear the air on a lot of misgivings that has been spreading.
“On behalf of my late husband, children and the entire Ajimobi’s family, I want to sincerely thank you for all your support at this very crucial point of our lives.
“My husband is not a very difficult man but thank God we are here today. For me, when things like this happen, I want to pick up something. It is a time for everyone of us to reflect on our lives because death is a necessary end. It will come when it will come. We don’t know who is next and we don’t know when our time will come.
“Either you are a Christian or a Muslim, both religions teach love and peace and I am glad that the deputy Governor of Oyo State is here because I need to put some records straight. It is the first time I’m going to make any public announcement or statement since my husband actually died.
“I opened the papers a couple of days ago and I saw the Oyo State Government writing a lot of things.
“Your Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, for the avoidance of misinformation to the public and damage to the image of my husband because my husband is a peace- loving person. He lived for peace passionately.
“My husband took ill on the 22nd of May and he was hospitalised and I was reading in the papers that the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Seyi Makinde, claimed he called me. But he didnt.”
Referring to the Deputy Governor, she said “I don’t have your number and I have never spoken with you on phone. But it’s important we put the records straight because this is a family of politicians and I don’t want anybody to tarnish my husband’s name and well my husband is gone. It could be me or anyone else tomorrow.
“Life in itself is vanity upon vanity. Either you are PDP or APC, the man is dead and he has been buried.
“But the Governor didn’t call me. Even if he had called me and I didn’t pick his calls, I don’t have his number and I have never spoken with him on the phone. He could have sent me a text message for record purposes. “And then today again, I read in the papers and saw how the Ajimobi’s family was lying about something again.
“Mr Deputy, my husband never had anything against the Governor or anyone else. We were in different parties but he was an elder stateman and he slept on the ground. “The Governor of Oyo State never called me nor sent a condolence message, my husband was hospitalised for one month. What politics are we playing, please?
“Life is short, I’m a Christian and my husband is a Muslim, we all should let the fear of God guide us in whatever we are doing. Ajimobi is gone today. Whatever he does doesn’t matter to me. It doesn’t matter to me as his wife and his widow. I’m going to mourn and respect my husband’s wishes and that was what I did today, laid him to rest peacefully.
“I don’t want any controversy. Everything I read in the papers, I just swallowed them all and let it go. So, please, the press are here, we never had any rift with the Governor with the state government. I never dialogued with them. I never contacted them nor sent them a word because I didn’t know it was necessary for me to send official messages that my husband was hospitalised.
“I didn’t send messages to Governor Fayemi. I didn’t send to Governor Ganduje. I didn’t send to Lagos State Governor, I didn’t send messages to anybody because it was all over the social media and they knew that my husband was ill.
“I think the least anybody can do as a God- fearing person was at least to send me a word of encouragement at that time. And even after he died. Not even you Mr Deputy Governor called. If you had called me as you claimed and I didn’t pick, you could have at least sent me a message Sir.
“I don’t have your number, I am the wife of a politician, I don’t pick numbers that I don’t know Sir. You can send a message. Everybody is going to die. My husband is dead and he served this state for eight good years. “Are you saying he didn’t contribute anything to this state and you could not honour him for a second? The man is dead and I need to put the record straight. I don’t want anybody, any government to tarnish my husband’s image. He was a peace loving man. And he played his role and he’s gone.”
“Nobody can be on the stage for so long. You come, play your roles and you leave. Somebody else comes. I pray for Governor Seyi Makinde to succeed because that is the only time I would say that my husband succeeded. “So, please let’s put the record straight. I never had any interactions with Governor Seyi Makinde, he did not contact the family and that is the fact. His deputy Governor is here, he did not even send me a text message and I don’t have your number and I don’t pick calls from numbers that I don’t know. So, please let’s stop dirty politics.” She concluded.

Why I Started Sleeping With My Daughters, Said 50 Year Old Father
A 50-year-old father, Peter Ayemoba, has been arrested by the police for having carnal knowledge of his two daughters.
Ayemoba told the police during interrogation that he had been sleeping with his daughters since his wife died about seven years ago.
He said that sleeping with his daughters made him to feel close to his late wife, adding that the romps he had with them allowed them to bond more.
Ayemoba said: “I started sleeping with my daughters about seven years ago when I lost my wife in 2013.
“The death of my wife got me so confused that I did not even know when I started sleeping with my daughters.
“In fact, I don’t know what has come over me.
“The death of my wife devastated me to the point that I did not know what I was doing.
“I suspect that somebody placed a curse on me, because what I have done in the past seven years is not ordinary, frankly speaking.
“What I did after my wife’s death was to bond with my children and they became closer to me until gradually I started sleeping with the girls.
“Honestly, I cannot explain why I should do that to my own daughters. But there was a spirit that kept telling me that I would not be the first man to sleep with his daughter and at such, I should not worry too much about it.”
Ayemoba insisted that he got the consent of his daughters before sleeping with them, adding that it was with their consent that the relationship continued even after he took a second wife.
He said: “After my wife’s burial, I started having feelings for my daughters. I would go to their room and play with them until it metamorphosed to having sexual intercourse with them separately on a regular basis but with their consent.
“Whenever they rejected my sexual demand, I would tell them that I wanted to be closer to them since their mother was no more.
“At times I would threaten to kill them and commit suicide if they did not allow me to sleep with them.
“One day, I had to refer them to the Bible about Lot who had sex with his daughters and was not punished by God.
“I told them that the intercourse between a father and his daughters was normal and it is written in the Bible.”
The father of six said his second wife was not aware of his romps with his daughters, neither did his four sons know about them.
He added that his daughters probably did not tell his second wife because they were not close to her.
He said: “My daughters, after noticing that I was doing something abominable, forced me to get another wife that would satisfy my sexual urge. But despite the marriage, I still made love to them at the slightest opportunity my new wife was not in the house.
“Honestly, what is happening to me is not ordinary. I need to go out to sort myself out either physically or metaphysically so that I will have peace of mind.”
Apparently tired of the sexual demands of their father, the girls decided to report to a family member who turned him in to the police.
Ayemoba, however, expressed surprise over the action of his daughters.
He said: “They voluntarily, willingly accepted to be having sex with me any time I demanded it.
“What baffles me is that for the number of years we were having sex, we were happy. Then all of a sudden, they reported the incident to a family member who brought us to where we are (police station). I am still surprised at what they did.”
“But maybe my cup has filled to the brim, so let the law take its course, I am ready for any eventualities.”
The People Who Shared The Money Abacha Left Are Still Alive And Untouchable – Major Al-Mustapha – Daily Watch Press
The former Chief Security Officer to late Gen. Sani Abacha, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha had claimed in an interview he granted to the Hausa service of the BBC, that the people who shared the Money Abacha left are still alive but they are now untouchable, while he (Abacha) is being ridiculed.
In his word the Major said:
“I am surprised by the way Abacha is being blackmailed. I am surprised because when he assumed leadership, Nigeria had less than $2 Billion in the Foreign Reserve, He Said
But within four years and eight months, he raised it to over $9 Billion. After his death, all the Billions vanished in nine months. “
“The person that raised Nigeria’s image and enhanced security is now the subject of insult. But those who shared the money he left are still alive and untouchable,” Al-Mustapha concluded.
